[Scenic view of Japan] Fresh green landscape of "Nanzenji" Temple in Kyoto
A magnificent view of the fresh green from the “San-Mon” of Nanzenji Temple
Trees that color the four seasons are very
important as an element that is essential to the scenery of Kyoto. This is
because the buildings made by collecting the best of architecture are also
built on the premise of harmony with the surrounding natural scenery.
In the spring of fresh green, the “San-Mon” of Nanzenji Temple are covered with cherry blossoms and fresh green. From the outside of “San-Mon” or on the opposite side, through the gate, the colors of the trees appear even more vividly, like a magnificent painting with “San-Mon” on the forehead.
It is a great pleasure for us human beings
with sensibilities to feel the beauty that is contained in nature that is “just
there”.
By cutting out a landscape of nature from the darkness created by the shade of the "gate," the presence of trees is more vividly colored with shadows.
It may be one of the beauty of Japan.
Not only the fresh green of spring, but
also the dark green of summer, the autumn leaves, and the snowy landscape of
winter, the scenery you see through the gate changes according to the four
seasons.
I would like to visit each season to feel the beauty of each of the four seasons.
